About the project

Quantum Facades is appointed for the prestigious Gateway development within Liverpool’s Pumpfields regeneration zone — four residential towers representing a major step in the city’s urban renewal.

Full design, supply and installation of an A1 fire-rated rainscreen cladding system across all four towers, including Genius Flat Panels, 150mm Rockwool Duo Slab insulation and Plastestrip Fastframe — across elevations, private balconies and ground-floor soffits. Hot melt roofing by Fatra forms part of the package.

Challenges

  • Limited site footprint requiring just-in-time logistics
  • Coordinating PPC façade and hot melt roofing on a tight programme
  • Meeting Legacie’s rigorous quality benchmarks on tall structures
